Founder Shadrach D. Martin

The Jurnee Foundation was founded by Bishop Shadrach D. Martin, inspired by his daughter, Jurnee Martin, the visionary.   Bishop Martin's profound dedication to philanthropy and community service inspired him to make a difference in the lives of others. Building on his extensive experience as the founder of Live Church, Shadrach Martin has wholeheartedly devoted himself to catalyzing positive change. His steadfast commitment to giving back resonates throughout every facet of our work at the Jurnee Foundation.

Jurnee Martin

At The Jurnee Foundation, our journey began with the vision of Jurnee Martin, a sweet, smart,  compassionate,  and driven young lady who discovered her passion for helping others from a young age. Witnessing the  needs within her community, Jurnee inspired her father to create an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and enriching their  community. Driven by the belief that every person holds the power to effect positive change, Jurnee's vision embodies the essence of collaboration and empowerment. She envisions a world where individuals are equipped with the resources and support needed to realize their full potential and lead healthy, fulfilled lives. Jurnee's dedication to making a difference serves as the cornerstone of The Jurnee Foundation. Together, we strive to uphold her values and create lasting impact through our collective efforts."

Jurnee Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the St. Louis community. Our mission is to create sustainable change that benefits the community by providing jobs for students, offering affordable housing and childcare, and currently working on a behavioral and mental health counseling center. Our organization has also planned and hosted many community events to bring people together. We believe that by working together, we can help make a difference in the lives of people in our community.
